True to form, Jay claims he has a reliable drug dealer, but his attempts to "score" result in several humiliating failures—including buying a bag of tea leaves from the school bully, Donovan. Eventually, the boys manage to buy actual cannabis from a dealer named Steve (played by actor/rapper Doc Brown) at the venue. The night ends disastrously when Will, despite his "straight-laced" morals, suffers a severe reaction after accidentally ingesting a large amount of the substance, leading him to stumble onto the stage during the band's performance to request an ambulance.
