The story follows (Ram Charan), a brutally honest and aggressive police officer who is frequently transferred for his refusal to compromise with corruption. After being moved to Mumbai, he investigates a high-stakes oil mafia case. He crosses paths with Mala (Priyanka Chopra), an NRI woman who witnesses a murder and reluctantly agrees to help him. Alongside his ally Sher Khan (Srihari), Vijay battles the powerful mafia leader Teja (Prakash Raj), ultimately discovering a personal connection to the villain from his past.
