The story follows , the wealthy, white son of a California gubernatorial candidate, Bill Gluckman (played by Ryan O'Neal). Despite his privileged upbringing in Malibu, B-Rad is convinced he is a "hardcore" rapper from the streets. Concerned that his son's antics will ruin his political campaign, Bill hires two out-of-work actors, Sean ( Taye Diggs ) and PJ ( Anthony Anderson ), to "kidnap" B-Rad and take him to South Central Los Angeles to scare him into being "white" again.
