Picking up immediately after the escape from the Glade, the film follows Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and his fellow Gladers as they are brought to a facility managed by Mr. Janson. They soon discover that their "rescuers" are actually agents of WCKD (World Catastrophe Killzone Department), the same organization that imprisoned them.
